Webkonferenz des DIN/ISO Spiegelgremiums „Biotechnologie“
Ende April fand die Webkonferenz des nationalen Spiegelgremiums zum internationalen Normungsgremium ISO/TC 276 „Biotechnology“ statt. Die einzelnen Arbeitsgruppenleiter der AGen Terminologie, Biobanken, Analytische Methoden, Bioprocessing sowie Datenprozessierung und Integrierung berichteten zu den nationalen Normungsaktivitäten. Die AG „Terminologie“ koordiniert weiterhin die Definitionsarbeiten über alle Arbeitsgruppe hinweg. Außerdem wurde die Normungsarbeit am „ISO 5058-1:2021 Biotechnology — Genome editing — Part 1: Vocabulary“ beendet und der Standard veröffentlicht. Die AG „Biobanken“ hat folgende Projekte in der Bearbeitung:
- Biobanking — Requirements for human mesenchymal stromal cells derived from bone marrow
- Biobanking — Requirements for human and mouse pluripotent stem cells
- Biobanking of microorganisms — Part 1: Bacteria and archaea
- Biobanking — Requirements for the biobanking of plant biological material for research and development
- Biobanking — Requirements for human mesenchymal stromal cells derived from umbilical cord tissue
Die AG „Analytische Methoden“ arbeitet an folgenden Projekten:
- Minimum requirements for optical signal measurements in photometric methods for biological samples
- Nucleic acid synthesis — Part 2: General definitions and requirements for the production and quality control of synthesized gene fragment, gene, and genome
- Minimum requirements for cellular morphological analysis — Image capture, image processing, and morphometry
- Analytical Methods — Risk-based approach for method selection and validation for rapid microbial detection in bioprocesses
- General requirements and considerations for cell line authentication
Die AG „Bioprocessing“ hat die Überprüfung ihres ersten Projektes zu Ausgangsmaterialien für Produktion von therapeutischen Zellprodukten fast abgeschlossen („Ancillary materials present during the production of cellular therapeutic products and gene therapy products“). Hier wurden die ehemals drei Standards in einem überarbeiteten zusammengeführt. Daneben intensiviert die Arbeit an dem Projekt „Bioprocessing — General requirements for the design of packaging to contain cells for therapeutic use”.
Die Teilnehmer besprachen weiterhin die Vorbereitungen für die nächsten Working Group-Termine. Im November 2022 wird sich das Plenum des ISO/TC 276 Biotechnologie wieder treffen.
