The German Society Industrial Cell Technology (DGIZ), which was co-founded by BIO Deutschland, invited guests from the German federal administration and Bundestag, among others, to an information evening at the Permanent Representation of the Land of Schleswig-Holstein to the Federal Government in Berlin.
Working Group on Diagnostics Meets at PerMediCon in Cologne
On 19 June, the experts from BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Diagnostics met during the Personalised Medicine Convention (PerMediCon) in Cologne to discuss a topic relevant to the conference, namely a new trend in the health sector called companion diagnostics.
BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Regulatory Matters Meets in Munich
At the beginning of June, BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Regulatory Matters met in Munich to discuss current developments in legal requirements in the field of medicinal product licensing. The topics on the agenda were medicinal products for advanced therapies, the revision of the Clinical Trials Directive, and orphan drugs.
BIO Deutschland Activities in Brussels
In mid-June, representatives of national biotech associations, including BIO Deutschland as the German biotechnology sector association, met for discussions in EuropaBio’s National Association Council (NAC) and Healthcare Council (HC) in Brussels.
