Experts from pharma and biotech discuss the future of collaborations in healthcare
100 experts from the international Life Science sector gathered in Dusseldorf, capital of North Rhine-Westfalia, Germany, at the 7th European Business Development Conference organised by the German biotechnology industry organisation (BIO Deutschland) to discuss concepts of drug development, partnering and financing strategies.
BIO Deutschland Will Exhibit at Bio-Europe 2013 in Vienna
Once again this year, BIO Deutschland will have a stand at Bio-Europe, which will take place in Vienna from 4 to 6 November. As in previous years, the association will take the opportunity to present information on its members.
Orphan Drugs on the European Agenda
In mid-September, BIO Deutschland attended the meeting of the Joint Task Force Orphan Medicinal Products run by the European associations EuropaBio and EBE, as well as EUCOPE’s Working Group on Orphan Drugs, to discuss the latest developments on orphan drugs.
BIO Deutschland Attends the Signing of the Ten-Point Plan for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
Representatives of 21 trade associations recently signed the Ten-Point Plan for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) at a ceremony at the Federal Press Conference Building. The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) coordinated the drafting of the plan, with input from BIO Deutschland. The plan lists the most important measures for ensuring that German and European SMEs can continue to work successfully.
European Biotech Week – BIO Deutschland Organises a Rally on YouTube for its Members
From 30 September to 4 October 2013, the European biotechnology sector will present its work during the European Biotech Week (www.biotechweek.org), which marks the 60th anniversary of the discovery of DNA. BIO Deutschland will take part in the programme of events and has organised a video rally.
