BIO Deutschland moves into new headquarters
BIO Deutschland moved into new headquarters in the week beginning 22 October. The new offices are centrally located in the Michaelsen-Palais in Berlin’s Mitte district.

More than 120 attendees gathered from the 17th to 18th October in Hannover for the European Business Development Conference (EBDC), the yearly biotech partnering event of the German biotechnology industry association BIO Deutschland.
Standards initiative on bio-based products
In early October, BIO Deutschland participated in the European standards initiative on bio-based products. The technical committee has developed standards that define uniform requirements and test methods regarding the characteristics of bio-based products.
