Hearing and consultation held on the Future Strategy
On 16 November, BIO Deutschland’s managing director, Viola Bronsema, took part in a hearing on the Federal Research Ministry’s “Future Strategy for Research and Innovation”. BIO Deutschland had previously made submissions in a consultation on the Future Strategy.
BIO Deutschland hosts information booth at Bio-Europe in Leipzig
BIO-Europe, Europe’s largest pharma and biotech trade show, was held this year in Leipzig in late October. From 24 to 26 October 2022, over 5,000 international visitors from more than 2,500 companies gathered at Messe Leipzig to engage in intensive face-to-face discussions about possible business collaborations.
First-ever Biotech Innovation Spotlight focuses on liquid biopsy
On 22 November, BIO Germany Deutschland hosted its inaugural digital Biotech Innovation Spotlight (BIS) on the topic of liquid biopsy. The conference was initiated and organized by the Liquid Biopsy Task Force.
