The first China-Germany Healthcare Investment & Business Development Summit was held in Beijing, organised by Sun Health and attended by representatives including Bianca Ahrens (Morphosys), Michael Schlenk (Curasan), Wolfgang Söhngen (Paion) and BIO Deutschland, which presented other members of the association at the summit.

Health industry groups join forces to push e-health strategy for Germany
The eight trade associations involved in the industrial segment of the healthcare industry – BIO Deutschland, Bitkom, bvitg, BVMed, SPECTARIS, VDGH, vfa and ZVEI – have issued a joint position paper that calls for a “Dialogue platform on an e-health strategy for Germany”.

The German biotechnology industry received a significant boost from politics and industry at the opening of the ninth edition of the German Biotechnology Days in Berlin on 18 April. With more than 1,000 registrations, the two-day event set a new record. The high-calibre program covered all major research and development areas in the industry sector.

From 21 to 23 March, the XPOMET© Convention was held in the Congress Center at the Zoo in Leipzig.
