Attend and present – European Business Development Conference for pharma and biotech to be held in Heidelberg

The European Business Development Conference (EBDC) is BIO Deutschland’s special networking event for decision makers from the pharma and biotech industries and from the investment sector. EBDC 2019 will take place at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg on 25 and 26 September.

The conference programme features symposiums, company presentations, keynote lectures, and spotlight talks. There will also be a partnering system available to participants. The aim of the conference is to bring together select business developers, CEOs and managing directors of international pharmaceutical companies and of European biotechnology firms.

The first day of the conference will be kicked off with a keynote address by Jörn-Peter Halle (SVP, Head of TIP Immuno Oncology and Head of External Innovation at Merck). The first day’s programme also includes a symposium on “Fighting Malignancies – Focus on Cancer Therapy”, a panel discussion on “How Is the Pharma Business Model Changing, What Are the Implications?”, as well as company presentations.

The second day of the conference will be opened by a keynote address by Lorenz Mayr (Chief Technology Officer for GE Healthcare). This day’s programme also features a symposium on “Drug Development 4.0 – How Digitization and AI Change Drug Development”, another round of company presentations, plus start-up pitches.

Take advantage of the opportunity to present your company at the EBDC. Apply today to secure a 15-minute presentation slot.

The local hosts of the conference are the German Cancer Research Center and the Life Science Cluster Rhine-Neckar (BioRN).
