BIO Deutschland co-hosts liquid biopsy forum at Labvolution in Hannover

From 9 to 11 May, 2023, Labvolution, the flagship European trade show for innovative laboratory equipment and the optimization of laboratory workflows, took place in Hannover. BIO Deutschland attended the event with some association members and co-organised a two-hour supporting programme on the topic of liquid biopsy. Liquid biopsy is an emerging field of medical diagnostics that makes it possible to extract and analyse circulating tumour DNA from blood samples. Edgar Fernholz (Telexos), Constanze Kindler (QIAGEN), Jens Beator (SensID), Ann-Christin Lüdiger (Sysmex Germany), Ariane Hallermayr (Medical Genetics Center) and Ben Liesfeld (Limbus Medical Technologies) gave short talks and shared their expertise in an informative panel discussion. And as always, there was the opportunity to exchange ideas with other professionals and initiate collaborations and partnerships.
