BIO Deutschland participates in the Bio-Europe in Munich

From 2 to 4 November, BIO Deutschland was once again present with a booth at the Bio-Europe international life science partnering conference in Munich. The successful concept of trade exhibition, panel and workshop sessions, company presentations and prescheduled one-to-one meetings remained unchanged for this year’s event. Conference organizers reported total attendance of 3,500 participants. More than 18,000 meetings were arranged via the partnering system, not including the – probably just as many – discussions at the exhibition booths, networking occasions during coffee breaks and talks at the evening receptions.

BIO Deutschland’s booth served as a contact point for its many attending members and as a source of information about the association’s activities including its conferences and other events. The booth also gave prospective members an opportunity to learn more about the association. BIO Deutschland received positive response to its work, and the large number of international visitors to its booth confirmed that BIO Deutschland is highly visible European-wide as a biotech sector association. 

The Working Groups on Bio IT and Big Data, on Regulatory Matters and on German-US Cooperation took advantage of the occasion to hold their meetings.

Next year the BIO-Europe will take place from 7 to 9 November in Cologne.
