Current information on the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the EU and the United Kingdom
On 24 December 2020, the EU and the UK agreed on a joint Trade and Cooperation Agreement after all, which should regulate future trade relations. While the British Parliament has already ratified the agreement, the European Parliament has yet to give its final approval. Despite being 1,500 pages long, the agreement does not include final regulations on essential aspects of economic cooperation and thus leaves many questions unanswered. You can find the agreement and related notes, recommendations and assessments on the Brexit blog on our internal website.
