EuropaBio’s board meeting and general assembly held in Brussels

On 29 June, Peter Heinrich, Chairman of the Board of BIO Deutschland, took part in EuropaBio’s board meeting. Among other matters, it was noted that it was a big success that the Biotech Patent Directive 98/44/EC will not undergo any more revisions, at least not in the current legislative period – an achievement made possible through the intervention of EuropaBio and the support of the national biotechnology associations. At EuropaBio’s general assembly, which was held on the same day, Peter Heinrich was re-elected to EuropaBio’s board for another two-year term.
