Foundation of a New BIO Deutschland Working Group on Technology Transfer

An initial meeting on the preparation of an inaugural session of a new BIO Deutschland working group, which will deal exclusively with technology transfer, was held in Bonn. To date, the Working Group on Licences and Technical Contracts and the Working Group on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Jobs have dealt with this topic.

The main point of discussion during the meeting in Bonn was a review of the problem of technology transfer in Germany from the viewpoint of the various groups involved. In addition, the fields of activity resulting from this review were identified and suggestions for the invitation of experts who could participate in the working group’s future activities were discussed.
