Fourth board meeting of 2016

BIO Deutschland’s board convened for last time in 2016 after the CEO & CFO Meeting. The board members reviewed the past year’s activities and expressed their strong satisfaction with the association’s achievements in 2016. BIO Deutschland made great strides, particularly in terms of its political visibility and acceptance, as evidenced by participation in the Pharma Dialogue and discussions with Federal Ministers Gabriel, Gröhe and Wanka and numerous state secretaries. Furthermore, the board welcomed the association’s membership in the BDI, which will begin in January.

The board also deliberated on the association’s strategic positioning as well as its policy direction and key focus areas for 2017. In addition to officially instating new members, the board discussed next year’s activities and adopted the 2017 budget.
