Meeting held with Chinese delegation at Labvolution

Albrecht Läufer, former head of the BIO Deutschland China Network, welcomed a Chinese business delegation to Labvolution in Hannover. He presented the German biotechnology industry and the association’s work. His company BluCon Biotech has a presence in China, which has enabled him to gain extensive experience with Chinese business partners, investors and authorities. The delegation members, who were well-known representatives of the local vaccine industry and attending under the umbrella of the Chinese Association of Vaccine Manufacturers, were looking to find business partners in Germany. Läufer asked the Chinese association representative to lobby the government intensively for an improved competitive environment for German industry in China. He said that an equal playing field was very important for good cooperation, which is something we welcome in principle.
