Meeting of BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Technology Transfer

BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Technology Transfer met at KPMG’s Mannheim office on 17 January 2013 to plan a further conference on technology transfer. This event will follow up on the successful conferences in Heidelberg and Leipzig that took place some time ago. The next conference will be held at the European Patent Office in Munich on 17 June 2013 and will focus on identifying barriers to technology transfer. Representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology and academia will be invited to attend the one-day conference in order to identify these barriers and to discuss achievements and problems in technology transfer between the three fields.
