New hygiene concept for BIO Deutschland events

Biotechnology is central to containing and fighting the coronavirus pandemic, as our member companies are developing and producing diagnostic tests, therapies and vaccines. Biotechnological innovation requires excellent basic research but is also always based on collaboration, exchange and further development. Playing a key role here are face-to-face meetings – including informal ones – that take place as part of conferences and congresses, which is why BIO Deutschland traditionally offers various formats for biotech professionals to exchange ideas and information.

Looking ahead to the German Biotech Days in 2021, but also to smaller conferences which we are planning in the coming months, it is necessary to have an official and generally applicable hygiene concept. Through our event formats we aim to provide our participants with the best possible platform for face-to-face exchange and interaction, and we naturally want to set a good example in implementing and complying with measures to protect public health.
