Parliamentary Breakfast Meeting in Berlin to Discuss the Law on the New Regulation of the Medication Market

In cooperation with the Bundestag member Rolf Koschorrek (CDU/CSU), BIO Deutschland held a meeting with other members of the Bundestag and representatives of biotech companies, at which topics related to current healthcare reform were discussed.

The focus was on the Law on the New Regulation of the Medication Market. BIO Deutschland representatives warmly welcomed that the exemption of orphan drugs from the planned benefit assessments had been reflected in the coalition’s applications on amendments to the law, in accordance with European regulations and legislation. Problems arising from the planned amendment to the regulation on package size contained in the law were also discussed.
