Parliamentary breakfast on biotechnological production
BIO Deutschland, together with its supporting members Biospring and Miltenyi Biotec, hosted a parliamentary breakfast on September 17 at the Hotel Adlon, in Berlin. The title of the event was "Biotechnology as a driver of innovation – setting the political course now for efficient biotech production and strengthening gene and cell therapies in Germany." Around 20 guests from the Bundestag, the Federal Chancellery, and the Federal Ministry of Health attended the meeting and discussed the framework conditions for pharmaceutical drug production with Christopher Baum from the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) at the Charité and BIO Deutschland board members Sylvia Wojczewski, founder and CEO of Biospring, and Norbert Hentschel, CFO at Miltenyi Biotec.
