Meeting of BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Technology Transfer in Berlin

Planning the contents of a workshop during the German Biotechnology Days 2011 (25 and 26 May in Munich) was the main topic of the meeting of BIO Deutschland’s Working Group on Technology Transfer, which was held in Berlin on 15 December. In addition, the chairmen of the group, Horst Domdey (Bio^M Biotech Cluster Development GmbH) and Jürgen Walkenhorst (Provendis GmbH), invited Volker Erb (BioTOP Berlin-Brandenburg) and Frank Steif (Technology Transfer Department at the Charité) to give presentations on aspects of technology transfer in TOP50 companies and the Charité.

The minutes of the meeting will shortly be available to BIO Deutschland members on request from the association’s office.

The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Munich in March 2011.
