Meeting of the DIN/ISO Working Group on Biotech Terminology in Berlin

On 8 September, the experts of the DIN/ISO Working Group on Terminology, which is involved in the activities of the ISO/TC Biotechnology, met in Berlin. They discussed how they could transform their preliminary work into a formal compendium of biotech terminology, which should serve to bring forward the worldwide harmonisation of terms used in biotechnology. Concrete next steps will be determined at the international meeting in Tokyo at the end of October.
